We are glad that you have chosen us to be a part of your wellness, health and evolution. In order to help us maintain a friendly, stress-free and safe environment, we kindly ask you to adhere to our simple house rules:
Please remove shoes at the designated area at the door and place them in designated shoe basketsby the door. We practice with bare feet to keep our studios as clean as possible. We like to keep outside elements away from this carefully created atmosphere of calm and work hard to maintain that.
Within the studios, we want to create an atmosphere of serenity, peace and stillness. That being said, please silence your cell phone when you enter the center and be mindful of your speech and actions.
Socializing can happen anywhere outside the studio, so let us make the best of our time by turning inward and recharging. Your calmness, composure and self-control are appreciated as we strive to create an environment of unwinding and letting go. Personal conduct and accountability will ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experience.
We ask that everyone arrive early to class because late entry is disruptive and disrespectful to others. If you do arrive within 10 minutes of the start of the class, Sit in the studio corner until the instructor asks you to join the class. At that point, unroll your mat and enter as slowly and quietly as you can. Remember to be mindful of those around you. It is better to try and avoid this situation altogether.
If you have any health issues (illness, injury, or medical condition), please notify your instructor before class. Some poses are not appropriate for certain conditions. Your teacher is not responsible for what she does not know and it is your responsibility to practice safely according to your body. Your safety and well-being are our priority but your cooperation in this matter makes it easier for our staff to work with you.
Please do not chew gum or have any sort of candy in your mouth during class. This is dangerous and is not suitable while practicing any movement or breathing.
No food of any kind is permitted in any of our studios.
Bottled water should be kept off to the side of your practice space. You may take little sips if needed.
Please bring your own mat for the purposes of hygiene.
We ask that each participant would kindly clean after their own selves in class by returning all of the props back to the storage area after use in a tidy and organized manner. If using our studio mats, kindly wipe the mat down with the supplied disinfectant before placing it back in it's place. This will help to avoid unnecessary bacteria.
If you have any questions about anything related to your class, kindly wait until the end of the session and we will gladly assist you.
Letting go of the competitive mind-set is very important in our sessions. Everyone is on their own path with their practice of yoga. Comparing oneself to the practice of another is distracting and harmful to yourself, your progress, and most importantly, your mindfulness.
DO what you can, with what you have, with where you are. Practice moving between efforts and surrender for the best Yoga and Pilates experience ever.
No experience or flexibility is required to practice yoga or Pilates. Anyone can practice them as they offer a variety of styles, levels and paces.
Staying for the entire class is very important. Please note that the final relaxation (savasana) is probably one of the most important part of class.
Please confirm your attendance to each session. If you need to cancel, please give us at least a 2 hour advance notice, prior to class, to avoid being charged for the class. We really value commitment, time and discipline and thus your cooperation and dedication will be greatly appreciated. This also helps the instructor to create a sequence and environment most suitable for those attending. We cannot prepare for what we are not aware of.
We value the privacy of our students and staff.
Following instructions will always result in having a better and a well-balanced session. We hope that this code of conduct list will help you to help us succeed in maintaining this balance.
